In honor of Max Baer's maternal grandparents, Gene and Mary Podrazik,  Wayne and Max Baer presented a generous donation of STEM Technology Starter Kits to the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program at Barrington High School. The objective is to help students quickly climb the product-prototype learning curve with these technology kits.  Final group projects ranged from last-minute thinking to elegant simplicity.  The learning curve between the groups was the initiative for this donation.  The five kits cover a broad spectrum - from basic (materials, fasteners, adhesives) to advanced (Microcontrollers [e.g. Ardunio, Raspberry], sensors, & accessory electronics).  These kits will promote better hands-on learning, quicker prototyping, and ultimately student knowledge in STEM.
